The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) College of Engineering is pleased to announce the launch of its new Engineering Education Project (KEEP) Scholarship.
This scholarship is available to students from Ghana and other West African countries who are pursuing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) or Master of Science (MSc) degree in one of the following programs:

KNUST Keep Scholarships Eglibility and Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the School of Graduate Studies at KNUST, applicants must:

- Have at least a First or Second Class (Upper Division) degree in their first degree.
- Apply for admission to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
- Have a Master’s degree with a minimum average of 60% (for those applying to PhD programmes).
- Have a passion for cutting-edge research, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to solve problems independently.
- Be proficient in English (oral and written).
- Demonstrate great communication and leadership skills.
- Be no older than 40 years of age.
- Female applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
Mode of Application
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV): A document that summarizes your education, work experience, skills, and accomplishments.
- Official Academic Transcripts: Official copies of your transcripts from all previous universities or colleges attended.
- Two Letters of Reference: Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional references, at least one of which should be from a supervisor at the Master’s level (for PhD applicants).
- Copy of Prior Publications: Copies of any academic publications you have authored or co-authored (if applicable).
- Completed Application Form: The KNUST School of Graduate Studies application form, completed in full and signed.
- Two Passport Photographs: Two recent passport-sized photographs of yourself.
- Certificates for Bachelor’s or Master’s Degrees: Official copies of your bachelor’s and/or master’s degree certificates.
Steps to Apply to KNUST Keep Scholarship
- Complete your admission application.
- Ghanaian students: Purchase an e-voucher from the KNUST Admissions Portal and complete the relevant application documents.
- International students: Access the KNUST application form from the Admissions Portal and complete it. Attach all relevant documents, including photocopies of certificates, recommendation letters, and transcripts.
- Print out two copies of the completed application form. Sign both copies and mail them to the School of Graduate Studies at the following address:

- Wait to be shortlisted. Once the application process is closed, the School of Graduate Studies will review all applications and shortlist candidates for an interview.
- Attend the interview. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a selection interview in person or via telephone/Zoom. The date of the interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.
