Professor Matthew Glover Addo is the current dean of the Faculty of Biosciences and a professor of microbiology at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Biology. He was admitted to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on May 2, 1965, to pursue a four-year degree program in biological sciences. In 1992, he finished the BSc (Hons) degree in biological sciences. Because of his National Service as a Teaching Assistant, Prof. Addo was kept in the Biological Sciences Department for the academic year 1992–1993.
