KNUST Parallel program Eligibility requirements

  • To be eligible for the KNUST parallel program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Credit passes in all three (3) WASSCE/SSSCE Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science)
  • Credit passes in three (3) WASSCE/SSSCE Elective Subjects or its equivalent relevant to the chosen program
  • Aggregate 24 or better

Note: The three Core Subjects are prerequisites for all Programs of study at KNUST.

  1. Go to the KNUST admission status checker portal and sign in with your serial number and pin.
  2. On the admission dashboard, look for the “Parallel/Fee Paying” option.
  3. Click on the “Apply here” link.
  4. If you are interested in the fee paying or parallel option, click on the “Yes” button.
  5. The available programs for parallel or fee paying will be displayed. These programs are based on your qualifications.
  6. Select your first and second parallel choices.
  7. Click on the “Submit” button.
  8. After submitting your application, log back into the system to check your admission status later.
