KNUST Engineering Courses Admission Requirements
In addition to the cut-off points, students who are applying to KNUST Engineering courses must also meet the following requirements:
- WASSCE/SSSCE applicants: Credit passes in core subjects (English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science) and credit passes in elective subjects relevant to the chosen program, with an aggregate of 24 or better (WASSCE A1-C6/SSSCE A-D). Grades D7, E8, and F9 are not accepted.
- General Business Certificate (GBCE) holders: Must have passes in three compulsory subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) and passes in any three elective subjects.
- Advanced Level holders: Must have credit passes in at least five (5) subjects at the GCE Ordinary Level (or its equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, plus at least three (3) passes in the relevant subjects at the Advanced Level.
