KNUST Bachelor Bsc Automobile Engineering Entry Requirement
WASSCE/SSSCE APPLICANTS
Credit Passes in THREE (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science and Credit passes in THREE (3) of the following Elective Subjects: Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following:
i. Chemistry
ii. Metalwork
iii. Auto Mechanics
iv. Applied Electricity
v. Technical Drawing
vi. Building Construction
vii. Woodwork
WASSCE/SSSCE applicants without Chemistry shall obtain at least B3 in Integrated Science.
Any of the following is acceptable in place of Chemistry;
Metalwork, Auto Mechanics, Applied Electricity, Technical Drawing, Building Construction and Woodwork.
A’ LEVEL APPLICANTS
i. A’ Level Certificate applicants shall have at least credits in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
ii. Applicants shall have credits in English and Mathematics using either
WASSCE/SSSCE or O’Level as substitute for Requirement.
MATURE APPLICANTS
Mature applicants must be at least twenty-five (25) years at the time of submitting the application.
Mature applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience at the time of submitting the application
Mature applicants must have acquired WASSCE/SSSCE, A’ Level Certificate or an HND from a recognised institution.
a. WASSCE/SSSCE mature applicants shall meet requirements.

INTERNATIONAL AND OTHER APPLICANTS
a. International Baccalaureate applicants may apply with contents of programmes equivalent to the Ghanaian WASSCE/SSSCE or the Ghanaian A’ Level programmes.
